Victorian-look canvas prints using MixedUP Merchandise Printables

Hello my friends! I'm here today to show you a quick & easy project using Katy's MixedUp Merchandise printables!

I used a couple of these lovely little girls and the Enjoy Your Thoughts words.

I brushed olive oil onto the page of pictures to make them into vellum.  I chose the 2 I wanted, cut them down to fit my small canvases, and laid them over the words. I moved them around until I found the words I wanted to show through, traced around the pic, and cut them out.

I adhered the face on top of the words, then adhered that to the top of my canvas.

After that, I added my Sari ribbon, metal corners, & a touch of brass Art Alchemy wax.

I liked that the glue made the ribbon looked old & stiff, like aged velvet. Looked more vintage!

I added a flower on top of one & a jewel on top of the other.

These would be awesome in larger sizes - so romantic & Victorian looking.  And the vellum is so interesting & eye-catching.

I hope you've been inspired to do some of your own projects using these printables - you can resize them, recolor them, make vellum out of them - so versatile!
