Hey everyone! It's another challenge at The Blank Page Muse Stamps! And this month's theme is Embossing, Any Sort of Way! The challenge goes live on 10 May and runs through 8 June so get your thinking caps on and enter!
For this challenge, I made a colorful tag using stamps from my new collection!
Supplies Used:
The Blank Page Muse Stamps: Soulful Dolls
Blank Manilla Tag
Black Embossing Powder
Black Archival Ink
Embossing Pad
Distress Oxide Inks
Heat Gun
1. Start by smooshing your oxide colors onto your craft mat or waxed paper, then spritz with water.
2. Lightly press your tag into the colors, varying the areas. Dry with a heat gun, then press some more, adding color to the blank areas until you get the look you want.
3. Ink up your face stamps with the embossing pad, stamp, and cover with embossing powder. Then emboss with the heat gun.
The black, shiny embossing really pops against the oxide inks! And I'm really pleased and excited with this new set! There's more to the set than these 3 stamps so I hope you'll check it out and pick one up for yourself!
