A trio of bookmarks

If you're like me, you've got stacks of books around. I love reading - history, biographies, classics. Right now, I'm reading 4 different books at once! And I NEVER use bookmarks for some reason.

But thanks to the latest Simply Create Too challenge ~ Make A Bookmark ~ I got the chance to make myself some bookmarks!

All of these are made using CCB Ivory Boomarks!  The 1st one has different strips of silk Sari ribbon sewn on using crazy stitching and remnants of thread sticking out - kind of gypsy looking!

The next one uses Tim Holtz Distress Oxides and a couple stamps from my latest stamp collection ~ Soulful Dolls ~ at Blank Page Muse Stamps. I also used a baby wipe through a honeycomb stencil. Kind of reminds me of a colorful mermaid tail or sea monster scales 😏

And the last one is just something quirky using a small grid stencil & some fun washi tape and a little embossing.

So there you have it - quick and easy and quirky! Hope you'll join us for this fun challenge - and check out the other 2 related blogs:  Angie's Digital Stamps and Get Creative Challenge!

  1. These are such fun! Love the different styles.

  2. Lovely - you can never have too many bookmarks - my fave is the stitched one! x
