Forbidden fruit

UPDATE: My apples were winners at Rhedd's Creative Spirit!!

I know it's not Halloween yet but I had to experiment with some fake apples I've had just sitting around in a bowl.

I wanted them to look artsy and, well - oddly appealing.

I think this one is my favorite with all the beautiful tones and iridescence.

Now I can't wait for the Halloween season - I've got some ideas for some more enticing poison apples!

And miracle of miracles, Scrapki Wyzwaniowo is having a fruits challenge!

And I'll give it a whirl at Rhedds Creative Spirit - I was a runner up last time!

    1. I used Deco Art clear crackle and black gesso and a myriad of different art alchemy waxes and inks and some sprays - no rhyme or reason really Just experimenting and rubbing stuff on until I liked it
