I know it's not Halloween yet but I had to experiment with some fake apples I've had just sitting around in a bowl.
I wanted them to look artsy and, well - oddly appealing.
I think this one is my favorite with all the beautiful tones and iridescence.
Now I can't wait for the Halloween season - I've got some ideas for some more enticing poison apples!
And miracle of miracles, Scrapki Wyzwaniowo is having a fruits challenge!
And I'll give it a whirl at Rhedds Creative Spirit - I was a runner up last time!
I love your altered apples.
ReplyDeleteThe textures and colour palette are stunning..I look forward to seeing your Halloween creations...
Thank you for entering our challenge this month at Rhedd's Creative Spirit..xx
Beautiful altered apples! What did you use on them, Cathy?
ReplyDeleteI used Deco Art clear crackle and black gesso and a myriad of different art alchemy waxes and inks and some sprays - no rhyme or reason really Just experimenting and rubbing stuff on until I liked it
