Fall is around the corner - I've been waiting for it since spring! The colors in West Virginia are beautiful when the leaves change. And I've got a couple canvases that feature some of nature's delicate leaves with those beautiful colors!
These leaves were all over my yard last month - they've obviously had some critter chewing on them which left behind a lacy, delicate shell. So I collected a bunch of them, just waiting for an opportunity to use them! And the latest Frilly and Funkie challenge was just the ticket!
I wanted to do something different (of course!) and decided on embossing. I have all kinds of different powders in various colors so I went to town on enhancing nature.
Try adding some color of nature and life to your own mixed media projects!
I'm also entering it at Creativ Fusion Arts & Crafts, Crafter's Castle, and Mixed Media & Art for their Colors of Life challenge!
Great mixed media canvases. Thank you for joining in our challenge at Creativ Fusion Arts & Crafts. Angela DT
