Those in plastic houses...

...should make them out of photos!  Hey everyone - glad you stopped by!  Summer is winding down. And that's when we start reminiscing about the past few lazy months: travel, beautiful scenery, and memories. I decided to capture a few memories with hubby as we traveled around on our motorcycle by making an artsy plastic house!

I started with some photos of our travels and spiced them up with some extreme summer colors!

I found a house template on line that I used to cut the pieces out of Grafix craft plastic. I adhered the pics under the plastic rather than on top. And I added some stampings using paint on top of the plastic to give it an artsy look.

The colorful roof's got some iridescent rainbow embossed bricks here and there. And the roofline is held together with some fun washi tape.

I love the colorful look and the stampings! I can't wait to make more of these using my gel press with stencils and stamps!

I'm entering this at the Mixed Media Place for their Jul-Aug challenge!

I'm also entering at 613 Avenue CreateMore Mixed Media ChallengeCreative Artiste Challenge Blog, and Rhedd's Creative Spirit - I was runner up last month!
