What's interesting is the rose gold metallic paint on the black tag. I added some Decoart on top and got the heat gun close to get some bubbles and imperfections. After rubbing some distress ink around the edges and over the top, it's got a wood grain look to it which I wasn't expecting from a metallic paint - but it fits right in!
The leaves have been embossed with some seasonal colors - they're gorgeous! I've got a torn journal card that's spritzed with green and gold Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists with an embossed cross chipboard piece. It's all tied up with a piece of dyed Sari silk ribbon.
It would look gorgeous on a basket of fall goodies for a neighbor or a housewarming gift. The colors are perfect for the season and the real lacey leaves add a touch of nature. Vintage books and scrapbooks used to be decorated with pressed flowers or leaves so this tag has that type of vibe.
I'm entering this beauty at A Vintage Journey and Scrapki Wyzwaniowo for their Leaves challenge!
Absolutely stunning tag-great textured background and love the use of beautiful Autumn leaves -I covered some with watered down PVA but didn't work !!!

It was really easy to do with embossing powder. Just lightly touch the leaves to the embossing pad or use a pen. I didn't want them super saturated - just a little sparkle!
