Hey everybody! Glad you stopped by for a visit! I've got a project that I've been dying to share with you!
When I was helping with my granddaughters a couple months ago, I got some great pics of them together. And I just loved this one - I can hear Olivia screaming! So I decided to finally do a project on a wooden artist palette that I've had sitting around!
Underneath the pic is some white fluted paper that came as packaging (save everything!) and a piece of applique I found in my mom's stuff. I added some stenciling, art stones/pebbles, and small skewers as well as a grouping of flowers.
I used some beautiful Lindy's color: Oom Pah Pah Pink, Bayou Boogie Gold, and Cocoa Bean Copper. Splattering color and paint here and there is always fun! I didn't want it to look too heavy - these sprays are gorgeous and vibrant with even just the lightest application. They complement each other and the white without overtaking the project.
This project represents two of my favorite leisure things: my grandkids and my art! The colors are gorgeous and are perfect for this artist palette project!
I'm entering this in Lindy's October Challenge and at More Than Words.
This is fabulous Cathy!
