Christmas vignette box

Even though it's the day after Christmas, it's still the holiday season!  I don't know about you but I keep my decorations up until the end of January! 🎄

So I've got a cute little vignette box I created using Gecko Galz printables!

I have these cardboard match boxes that make really cute vignettes. I covered the outside cover with a beautiful background paper from the Everything Is Rosey ATC Collection. In Photoshop, I took an angel from Send Me An Angel and put it on my chosen background.

For the inside, I used another background with a Christmas tree from the same ATC collection. I then used a piece of beautiful crepe Sari silk around the inside border and added some cute embellishments. It's all mounted onto a wooden spool with the same ribbon wound around it.

The colors are gorgeous - I love pink for Christmas! And with the cover on, which is just as pretty, it can be displayed all year around! Christmas is a magical time of year, full of whimsy and traditions which I wanted to capture in this piece!

I'm entering this at Mixed Media Place and Crafts Dreamy!
