My grubby guys coin has rusty wire 'stitching' - believe me, it took a little bit to get that stuff woven in and out of the holes. And I like going 'off the page' with ATCs to make them more interesting - after all, they are mini works of art! So I dangled a couple of rusty safety pins.
My little guys are all dressed up and looking dapper! Love that wooden bow tie - but I wonder where they've been and what curious things they've been up to! Love how much dimension can be achieved on such a small space!
And our fancy girls are more refined, with embossed and glittery paper, silk ribbon and tulle, and a couple of buttons. They've been wandering through Edwardian society - oh, the things they've seen!
These little beauties are being entered at Frilly and Funkie for their ATC challenge and A Vintage Journey!
Fantastic! I love how they both have their own story and how beautifully you embellished them! Thanks for playing along with us at Frilly and Funkie Challenge "Artist Trading Coin"!
ReplyDeleteCathy, your frilly and funkie pair of ATC's are wonderful, and you've brought them to life with their stories! I love how you've gone off the page with the embellishments. Great pair! Thank you so much for sharing them with us at Frilly and Funkie! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteThese are adorable. Love your portrayal of them.
ReplyDeleteExtremely CUTE!!!
ReplyDeleteU certainly reeled me in with that awesome ‘Texas-sized’ bow tie, & this is something I’ve been wanting to try myself. I’d use quite a few of those little ‘Crazy’items on the Paper Dolls & it looks like it will work- very nicely!!!
That set of boys is one of my fave because we raised our 2 boys like that... they STILL dress alike & don’t even notice it!!! Lol
Hey Cathy, I'm excited to see you linked these up at A Vintage Journey, too! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteLove these...and the details you've added are fabulous. That bow tie made me guffaw! So cleverly done! Thank you so much for sharing with us at the Frilly and Funkie ATC Coin Challenge!
ReplyDeleteWhat great coins!! Love your rusty embellies on "his" and all the finery on "hers". Thanks for joining in the Frilly and Funkie challenge.
ReplyDeleteThese are delightful - and I'd be happy with either of them, male or female!
