It's tea time!

Fancy a spot of tea? How about traveling back in time to your childhood? Well have a sit-down and pour a cuppa - it's tea time!

Who doesn't like Alice? So surreal and steampunk and wacky! This upcycled bottle captures the spirit of Wonderland to a 'tea'! Let take a trip down the rabbit hole and see what we can find!

Instead of using regular Alice-themed scrapbook paper, I put together a couple of scenes using vintage Alice illustrations, did some magic in Photoshop, and printed them onto vintage encyclopedia pages! Gives it a little more interest I think. I also used lacquer on some parts. The brown down the sides and the top portion are just pieces of coffee filter! Thin layering allows the bottle underneath to show through in spots. It really distresses itself just being applied!

The Mad Hatter's hat isn't glued down so you can display the bottle with it atilt a little, next to the bottle, or all the way down for different looks!

I hope you enjoyed this little whimsical journey! I'm entering this at Frilly and Funkie for their March Madness challenge and A Vintage Journey!
