I don't know about you but I generally get an idea in my head and then end up 200 miles south of that! But I'm happy with the outcome! I have some stenciling here and there and started coloring it with Lindy's Blazing Sun, Bonjour Butter, Cocklebells Coral, and Edelweiss Moss Green sprays and Black Forest Black magical shaker. I also used a toned-down camouflage green rust paste from Finnabair.
I love the shimmer and the melding of the colors. It's a different palette for me but I love it!
I'm entering this at Lindy's Gang April Challenge, Try It On Tuesday, Simon Says Stamp, Scraps N Pieces, and STAMPlorations Mixed Media!
Gorgeous! Simply WOW! So beautiful! Thank you for joining in over at Try It On Tuesday! Susi xxx
ReplyDeleteBeautiful colours and a lovely bit of stencilling, with what looks like one of my favourite stencils ;-) Funny trompe l'oeuil effect there in the first couple of photos, where it looks as if the stencil itself has been attached to the canvas - I had to enlarge and look very closely, lol. It's good to celebrate Spring! I bet this looks so much nicer IRL with those lovely blended sprays.
