Is there a Dr in the house??

Hello there once again! I have some fab news - I'm a DT with Ephemoire, an amazing digital printables shop! This is my maiden project with them and I picked a set that is just up my alley: Vintage Medical Curiosities!

Not only is this collection wonderfully grungy and creepy, it made me think of my dearly departed father-in-law who was a doctor. So it's extra-special to me ๐Ÿ’• You get alot of stuff in this collection (so much more than what I used!) and it was fun putting it all together!

Some labels I made into vellum by brushing oil on the paper so they're see-through.  My little rusty box has some fun curiosities inside as well!

On the spine, a hand holds some patient files. There's also some xrays that I  made into vellum so they look more realistic!

I love using pieces of paper bag to give it a worn leather look...I've used it throughout.

It's tied together using old film with a latch. Let's see what's inside!

Lots of grungy goodness, from a pharmacy store to some confidential items. And there's wooden apothecary jars. I've used other wooden embellishments throughout as you'll see.

Next up, more oddities with phrenology and apothecary jars. And more confidential files...

The last portion is full of interesting doo-dads! How about a plague doctor carrying his mystical medicine? Or a jar of poison and a mini book?

The carved part has layers to tuck little curiosities into to make a little vignette.

I hope you've enjoyed the tour into a weird and intriguing book of medical curiosities! Please join us at the FB group and share your own Ephemoire creations with us!
