Hey there, everyone!  I've got a friend for you to meet - say hello to Freida!

My gal is a stunner, born out of left-over doll parts, embellishments, and large wings from A Vintage Girl! These wings are huge - 11"! I first adhered them to Finnabair tissue paper and then embossed them with Seth Apter's Patina Oxide powder. You'll see the full affect further down when they're in the sunlight!

I suppose Charlie Brown isn't the only block head! But she's got a heart of gold...and patina. She also wears glasses.

I gotta hand it to her for her crazy style. Some people wear their hearts on their sleeve but not Frieda!

When she's sunning herself, her wings are glorious, like a stained glass affect without the color.

She's a gloriously different type of creature, assembled with love. My very own Freidastein!

I'm entering her at Dream in Darkness and SanDee and Amelie's!

  1. Thank you for sharing with us at SanDee&amelie's Steampunk Challenges. Exciting to make an upcycling with doll parts and get this Freidastein. Gorgeous wings. Hugs, Susan

Hey - Tell me something good!
