This bottle was a project I did for CCB as a crew member.
Cool looking but - meh. Those big, metal wings were calling to me! So I started over!
I covered the bottle in an old, yellowed newspaper. I then put together my assemblage of old clock parts on a strip of wood amd added extras!
That top metal piece is from our gutter spout when hubby replaced them 😃
Rusty wire is wrapped around it to secure my assemblage and gives it a cool affect.
So much happier with this! What do you think?! Now I'm going to look around my house to see what else I can makeover!
I'm entering this at The Funkie Junkie Boutique Blog!
Cathy, I'm always impressed with your eye for the unusual! Yes, this is an amazing makeover, and I love the little Paper Dolls perched on the rusty parts. I'm thrilled you're playing along in our Let's Do It Again challenge at The Funkie Junkie Boutique blog! Hugs!

Thank you, Cec ❤️
DeleteA fabulous do-over... love the newspaper look for the bottle itself, and the figures perched within the wire caging, but it's that steampunk clock creation which steals the show. Inventive, imaginative... love it.
