I kept the lid attached so that it would fold down and I could expand the scene.
The inside and lid are covered in Christmas scrapbook paper. I had a roll of cork duct tape that fit perfectly around the inside and outside of the tin. I've embellished with paper dolls, snowflake paste, mini Christmas trees and presents, and gold and silver pearls.
The scene on top is sitting inside of part of a rusty telephone bell.
So easy to create fun scenes and vignettes and a change from using the normal wood boxes! I hope you'll stop by this challenge blog and join in the creative fun!
Cathy, your creation is totally amazing, thanks so much for being our Guest Designer over at Arty Divas! Hugs, Zowie xx
ReplyDeleteWow, this is stunning Cathy, what an awesome make, brilliant xx
ReplyDeleteOh, that's absolutely delightful... I love the structure. I've just emptied a camembert pack which would work perfectly for a similar vignette. Fabulous use of all those Christmas goodies.
