I've been industrious

Welcome, my friends! I've been getting a little industrial with a new manni!

She's 33" tall and is mounted on a vintage chair leg that's sitting inside a bottle. Her bodice is torn pieces of various printed paper and white tissue paper. A black metal crown and tulle top her off. The skirt is a combination of this weird cardboard netting used for packing boxes and chicken wire to form a cage. Attached to the skirt are embossed cogs and wings from A Vintage Girl's Printers Tray Trinket Chipboard set and butterfly wings and hasps.  She's also got a beaded neck decoration and a metal-studded over skirt. The back has 2 strips of chicken wire for a train.

She's a little vintage, a little industrial, a little off the beaten path. But she's definitely a piece of modern art!

I'm entering this at Morgan's ArtWorldSanDee & Amelie's, and More Mixed Media

  2. WOW! This is so beautiful in a grungy sort of way. That beaded collar, the top of the skirt and the crown are all amazingly creative.
