If the shoe fits

Just a few days until Santa delivers his goodies - have you been naughty or nice?  It might be too late to change that 🤣 but you do have time to head over to Emerald Creek for their monthly challenge! For my DT project, I say if the shoe fits, upcycle it!

Christmas is such a magical time for kids of all ages! The snow and brisk air, everything is shiny and bright. The main thing I did to this shoe was emboss it with Glistening Glass (link at the end of the post). It makes it look icy and slick while giving it a fantastic iridescence! I did the same with some Emerald Creek embellishments as well.

Just look at the iridescence and icy look! The bark made really cute sled runners!

This would be darling for baby's first Christmas or a winter baby shower!  And that Christmas Polka stamp is darling!

I hope you'll play along with us and do some shopping! And may you have a blessed Christmas with family and friends!

  6. Oh my goodness how special is this Cathy! I love how you've taken something cute and made it such a wonderful vintage style display item. The buttons and lace trim with the charms transform the outside as it perches on the wire supports and then adding all those festive bits and pieces inside is so perfect. Thank you for joining in with our challenge at The Funkie Junkie Boutique blog xx
