Hello again! Today I've got a mixed media canvas that features crosses - stenciled, wood, and rusty metal with textures and grunginess!
The sentiment is a reflection of my Christian faith - Every saint has a past and every sinner has a future. The crosses reinforce that notion for me.
This flat panel has the cross-hatch texture already but I added tissue paper and fabric. Watered-down acrylic inks were used to grunge it up, as well as rusty metal trim, mesh, and wire.
The wood cross is covered in doo dads and sprayed, inked, and waxed.
I love crosses and had a few choices to work with! Lots of grunge, rust, and textures!
I'm entering this at Sandee & Amelie's, A Perfect Time to Craft, artPiASKOWNiCA, Classic Design Team Challenge and More Than Words!
