Welcome back to my little corner of the world! Winter is almost over and things will be warming up soon. Mixed Media Place has an interesting challenge for February with a fabulous color palette:
So many tones of blues, greens, and browns which is what I focused on for my entry.
I used a small tin as my palette and added a piece of a Prima mold, along with a face, butterfly, and various acrylic pieces. The main coloring was turquoise rust paste and yellow oxide high flow acrylic ink. There's also a touch of brown, green, and blue matte waxes from Finnabair.
The inside uses the same tones with embellishment variations.
I love the back!
Overall, it's a beachy feeling with a little bit of shabby and vintage patina!
I'm also entering this at The Funkie Junkie for their aquamarine challenge!
This is an awesome project Cathy, love the colours and elements you've used. I really must get some Finnabair waxes xx
