Notice of removal

Welcome back to West Virginia 😜 I have been doing so much art because of this quarantine - how about you?

This piece here is for my ambassadorship with A Vintage Girl - love, love, love that phone!


Not only did I use the phone, but this is done on a piece of cardboard! The piece under the phone is cereal-box type cardboard, done over with all the various Finnabair Matte Waxes to make it look like a piece of sheet metal. On the phone, various parts have been embossed and then I added waxes to give them even more patina. 






These extra pieces are also cardboard! But Finnabair's waxes turned them into metal in various stages of decay. If you put it on thick, it really gives you a cool affect! 



This chipboard phone set is just divine! It makes a great centerpiece for your vintage and grungy creations. And I love that it's dimensional!

    I stumbled upon your site via one of the followers on my blog. The name of your site drew me in! And I'm glad it did. My cardmaking style is traditional, with frequent bouts of cute... so mixed media creations like yours intrigue me (and kind of scare me as I tend to avoid anything "messy")! I am now a follower and am thinking, in time, I might just try my hand at mixed media. In the meantime, I'll stop in and check out your work regularly. Thanks so much for sharing.       Thanks, Kathy! You will absolutely love mixed media! No rules, anything goes, use anything from scraps to bottles and cans and different wet media. So much you can do and it really stimulates the imagination! I hope you try it! Contact me if you need help or have any questions! ❤️
